This is the front cover of the song book that contains Mother’s  published songs. 

 Mother, Frankie Mae Holman, wrote this song when she was 16, the fall before she and Daddy married in January.  She and Daddy went to a hymn writing class where Ben Killion taught.  He wrote the music to this song and the other song that the class wrote together. 

Mother (Frankie Mae Holman) wrote the first verse of the following song. 
Daddy (Berne Stahl) wrote the second verse. 
Together they did the third verse. 
The class wrote the chorus.
